Terms of use
Last updated 23 October 2026
These terms cover your use of Mornning during its private beta. Mornning is free and, for now, non-commercial: a personal project run by one person, not a company. By creating an account or using Mornning, you agree to these terms. How Mornning handles your data is described in the privacy notice.
A free private beta
Mornning is early, invite-only software. Mornning itself charges nothing; your AI provider bills you for the requests made with your key (see below). Features may change, break or disappear, updates may be late or missed, and the beta may be paused or ended. Mornning is provided as it is, without promises that it will always be available, complete or error-free.
Briefings are not advice
Mornning uses AI models to pick, assess and summarize stories, and they can be wrong, incomplete or out of date. Check the original source before relying on anything you read in Mornning. Nothing in Mornning is financial, investment, legal, medical or other professional advice.
Articles belong to their publishers
Mornning shows titles, short excerpts and links to articles published by others, who keep all rights to them. When you open an article, the publisher's own terms apply.
Your account
- You need to be at least 16 to use Mornning.
- Keep your sign-in secure, and use your account for yourself only. Invites are personal.
- Follow only sources you're allowed to access. Mornning only accepts public feeds.
- You can delete your account at any time in Settings.
Your AI provider and keys
- Mornning doesn't provide AI itself. To build your briefing you supply your own provider credentials: an API key for OpenAI, Anthropic (Claude), xAI (Grok), Google (Gemini), Mistral AI or OpenRouter, and optionally a key for Exa or Perplexity for web search.
- Mornning makes requests for you with those keys. They are billed to your provider account under your own agreement with that provider, and you are responsible for that account and its charges.
- If automatic updates are on, Mornning runs your briefing on the schedule you choose, up to six times a day plus a retry when an update fails, and those runs use your provider credit without you doing anything. You can turn automatic updates off in Settings.
- Mornning caps how much work each update does, but it does not control provider prices or billing. The optional monthly limit in Settings is a soft limit: Mornning checks it before each automatic update, so the last update can take you past it, and it can't cancel a request already sent or cap what your provider charges. To cap spending, set a limit with your provider. Your provider's own dashboard is the source of truth for what you are charged.
- You can remove a key at any time; features that need it stop until you add one again. Removing a key, or deleting your account, deletes only Mornning's copy: the key keeps working at your provider until you delete it there, and a request already sent can't be called back.
Fair use
Don't:
- try to get around Mornning's limits, access other people's data, or disrupt the service;
- use automated tools to scrape or overload Mornning;
- use Mornning to break the law or to infringe anyone's rights.
Mornning may limit, suspend or close accounts that do.
Changes
These terms may change as Mornning develops. The date at the top shows the latest version. If you keep using Mornning after a change, the new terms apply; if you don't agree, you can delete your account.
